On tap @ Rackhouse during Sour Month. Pours a pale hazy lemon color with a lasting off white head. Aromas of lemongrass, straw, barnyard, light fruit/apricot, and yeast. Medium body, more smooth than sour, with a dry finisah. Earthy yeast, grass, tart fruit, horseblanket, and lemon. Funky finish that smooths out and is quite refreshing.

Interesting Saison. Tart and crisp. Lots of acidic fruits. Not too sour. I like it.

Bottle. Golden light amber, slight hazy. Pretty interesting nose. Some medicinal, penicillan, there, wheaty malts, rubber, bit old woody, but not all that uninviting. Med light bodied, some soft acidity, cleansing finish. Soft, watery old barrels, wheaty malty, citrus, some ginger even. Interesting. Bit thin textured, and with a citrus... lemony fruityness, this is quite refreshing. Interesting, and with a lot of different types of flavours (some say complex). Getting peat in the burps now. Don’t like the slight wateryness, but overall real interesting.

(375ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Mar 21 2015) Pours very cloudy dark gold with tiny white head and no lace. Aroma lactic and funky sourness with peach skin, wet earth, a little bitter. Flavour of sour peach, lactic, light lemon, orange juice, a little pine and bitterness, peach skin in the aftertaste which is dry and bitter with woody quality. A little watery with very light carb. Definitely on the sour side for a saison with some white wine type characteristics, a little thinner than ideal but pretty interesting and quite drinkable.

Pours an cloudy golden yellow with a white head which soon after pouring recedes to a bubbly layer. Aroma is green apples and lemon. Taste is mainly composed of acidic citrus fruits - green apple, lemon, lime which lead on to some vinous characteristics, Riesling and green grapes can be noticed.

Cloudy yellow gold, light white tan head. Light citrus, some light cereal notes. Taste is very interesting, quite sour, clearly very lacto heavy, very little sweetness. Some smokiness, oakiness. Medium-long dry finish. Reasonably effervescent. Excellent.

bottle at home. Pours clear dark golden with a small steady super fine head. Light malt nose, some citrus, some pepper. All subtle. Light body, little acidic, light sweetness, medium dryness towards the end. Taste is malty, some metal. No real outspoken character, easy-going and extremely drinkeable.

Bottle. Pours hazy darker golden in color with a whitish head. Funkyness, citrus, sweet cantaloupe and bit of sour fruityness in aroma. There’s also some oak, bit of grassyness and vinous notes present. Tart mouthfeel. Lemon and notes of wheat at first in taste. Wooden barrel, some flowery herbs and sour vinegar kind of notes later on. Bit of funkyness in finish. Good.

Couleur dorée avec un col assez stable. Aromes assez complexes de fruits comme la peche et les agrumes, d’épices, de céréales, une bonne acidité du au Brett. Une petite ressemblance avec du vin blanc. Une excellente saison sure, une des meilleure!

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy amber color with a frothy off white head. Aroma is belgian yeast, light tartness, barnyard funk. Flavor has a subtle sour grape tartness/sweetness with some funk and spice. Light and easy to to drink. Decent saison, but Crooked Stave has much better offerings.
