375 mL bottle purchased at Belmont Station. Pours a cloudy bright yellow color with a quick fade head. Floral and sour fruit aroma. Flavor has a nice citrus front flavor, with short spice, dominant brett, and a delicious overall tart flavor. Very nicely done here. Love it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0,375 l bottle from Rudat, batch 14 (2014). Hazy, pale yellow with a medium large, fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Heavy gusher. Sourish-fruity aroma of citrus, gooseberry, grapefruit and rhubarb, a little funky. Sourish-fruity aroma of citrus, gooseberry, rhubarb and grapefruit, followed by a short, medium tart finish. Thin to medium body, spritzy and slightly astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very refreshing, but annoyingly I was not prepared for such a heavy gusher. But the taste makes amends.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Moderate aromas of grain, straw and cereal for the malt, grass for the hops, and musty barnyard for the yeast, with hints of vinegar and cardboard. Head is average size, frothy, white with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is murky but sparkling medium amber. Flavor starts moderate to heavily acidic and acetic, then finishes moderately acidic and moderately to heavily bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a lively carbonation and finishes tart and dry. A nice crisp Saison, maybe a touch too sour.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Bright & hazy golden yellow with a fuzzy white head that fades quickly. Aroma of musty hay, green apple, lemon, very mild tannins, & a touch of minerals. Flavor is light, tart, & dry. Mild oak, lemon-lime spritz, white grape, wheat-esque softness, some stone fruit acidity, & light green apple in the finish. Small hint of must & wood, too. Clean, smashable. Reminds me of Jolly Pumpkin’s Calabaza Blanca. Nice.
