Bottle. Huge spruce in the nose, some roast, light coffee, pine, earthiness, spice and herbal tinges. Opaque dark brown color, head is light tan, uneven, fine and lasting. Flavor profile is roasty, lightly sweet, more spruce here as well, with generous piney, hoppy flavors and bitterness and some darkly bready malt in the background. Generously effervescent, bubbly palate, body is medium. Very interesting and enjoyable stuff.

Tasted on 2/8/14 from a 750mL bottle at the RBWG Grand Tasting, big thanks to Aaron Nielsen for sharing!!! Pours opaque dark cola brown with a thick beige head that leaves rocky lace. The nose is brett funk, pine herbal, and some dark chocolate. The flavor has an added tart note, but otherwise is the same herbal pine and dark chocolate brett funk. The body is medium with over-active carbonation and a long tart herbal pine finish.

Sample @ RBWG Asheville After Party. Brownish pour with a small head. Pretty rustic nose. Manure, blackberry and blueberry spead. Some roasted malts. Taste is pretty yeasty, farty. Some brett, wood. Lemon peel and earth. Berries. Medium body, soft carb.

>> Thanks catman197 for the share. Pours an overcarbonated, murky brown with yellow foam. Nose is fresh flowers, phenolic yeast, Brett, air freshener. Taste is lemon/lime citric, bright, quite sour. Palate is aerated, tart, effervescent, big lime. Interesting.

Bottle shared by Aaron at the RBWG 2014 grand tasting, thanks! Pours a cloudy deep amber brown with a purple hue and a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of dark grains with a bit of earthy pine and grass. Flavor is similar with dark grains and light roast backed by a bit of pine.

Bottle at RBWG Asheville Grand Tasting. End of the bottle. Pours murky brown with a creamy head. Some brett funk, toasted bread, dirt. Very dry. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Super dry on the finish, more brett tang, some burnt pine, earth. Novel.

Draft - Bret wet hop herbal skunky nose. Cloudy brown with a rich beige head. Sour wet vegetative hops, Brett and some sour roast in the background. Strange.

Pour is dark brown with a lot of fluffy bubbly tan head. Nose is light with a some dark malts up front, roast and hint of chocolate, a fair amount of citrusy hops and light pine come in behind with a faint note leathery brett. Taste is different, malts are up front with a light roast and tobacco, strong leathery Brett with a piney resinous hop and thick syrupy body. Carbonation is a hint low and the finish has some juicy citrus with a slick feel down the throat. More like a black ipa.

Bottle thanks to catman197. Nose slightly tart and cherry like. Smells malty sweet. Large off white head. Nearly opaque black color. Taste is roasty up front. Slightly tart. Not getting much spruce or whatever. Minimal hop character overall. Like a sour stout. But only slightly tart. Very well balanced. So wowe.
