COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Wild Brett is a series of R&D beers created to showcase the versatility of Brettanomyces, a yeast found naturally all over the world. Historically considered ”wild yeast”, Brett is responsible for 100% of the fermentation in the bottle you hold. Green, the fourth installment of this series is our nod to absurdly hopped beers. Showcasing the Australian Galaxy hop, W.W.B.G. uses 4 lbs of hops per barrel with dank tropical fruit hop characteristics dominating the flavor and aroma.

Sample @ RBWG Grand Tasting. Hazy amber pour with a small head. Tropical pacific winds, hops. Pine, floral meadows, some citrus. Tart lemon curd. Similar flavor. Bretty tang, dried wood. Dirty garden biomass. Light body, effervescent. Lovely.

375. Thanks d! Pours a hazy pale gold with a scant white head. Loose white head. Big tangy nose, lots of lemon and a lot of foot. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Tangy lemons and foot on the mid palate. Long citric finish.

Bottle shared at Peg’s. Pale yellow pour with a white head. Floral aromas. Mildly sour with muted citrus, lemongrass, and brett notes. Very good mouthfeel. Good body. A bit hard to describe, but tasty nevertheless...

750 ml bottle shared by NielsenRatings - thanks, A-A-Ron! Pours a hazy, pale straw with a huge white head. Plenty of funk and florals in this, with straw, crackers, herbs, lemon, and some tropical fruits. Light-bodied, with medium to high carbonation and a tart, funky, bitter, sharp mouthfeel. Very good, but not one of my favorites from the series.

>> Thanks adneilsen for the share. Pours full haze golden with big carbonation, yellowish foam. Nose is olive, band-aid, phenols. Taste is anesthetic, olive, plastic. Palate is aerated, lightly bitter, fairly drained and very minerally. Hmm.

Bottle @ RBWG Asheville. Awesome aroma. Citrus candy, urinal goody-smelly cubes. Taste is a bit of a letdown after smelling the beer, watery, citrus, biscuits. Still good.

Bottle - Perfumy Bret, herbal and fresh. Cloudy yellow with a rich white head. Chalky, peach and some candy like sweetness. Smelled awesome but fell short on flavour.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2014 Tasted at a tasting in mid-2012 from a capped 750mL bottle. Pours cloudy bright orange with a massive white head that slowly recedes to thick, messy lace. The nose is super funky and earthy with some resin hops, citrus peel, and a lightly creamy aroma. The flavor is the same, super funky brett, and plenty of earthiness with the nicely bitter resin hops and citrus peel. The body is medium with lively carbonation and a long super funky and lightly bitter finish.

Tasted again at RBWG Asheville 2014 with similar results. The flavor was much funkier with the nose a bit more subdued, but it was still an excellent beer.
