COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Wild Brett is a series of R&D beers created to showcase the versatility of Brettanomyces, a yeast found naturally all over the world. Historically considered ”wild yeast”, Brett is responsible for 100% of the fermentation in the bottle you hold. Green, the fourth installment of this series is our nod to absurdly hopped beers. Showcasing the Australian Galaxy hop, W.W.B.G. uses 4 lbs of hops per barrel with dank tropical fruit hop characteristics dominating the flavor and aroma.

Thanks for sharing, Jeff! Big gusher, and a great look to it. Super sharp bretty nose, but without much in the way of hops. Surprisingly, the initial flavors are wickedly sharp and quite displeasing, with pronounced band-aid and medicinal notes. Thank God it settles quickly into a nice but admittedly a bit twangy brett IPA. Rough start aside, it was enjoyable.

400th rating. Bottle #462. Massive erupting head as I have come to expect from brett conditioning. Pillowy persistent foam and cloudy gold. Great floral hops and some tropical fruits (pineapple) on nose with some nice brett tones. Like a fruity Rayon Vert. Great.

Bottle shared at Woodshop 7. Gold with white head. Tropical citrus aroma, melon and mango, modest bitterness, Orval-like body and finish, somewhat bandaidy in the aftertaste.

75 cL bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Apples, grass and fruity. Fruity, hoppy, grassy and light citrusy. Mild leathery bretty note. Fruity, floral and grassy to citrusy finish.

The pour is amber in color with a tall off-white head. The nose lives up to the beer’s name. It’s quite "green". A bit of green apple, lime, grass, and honeydew. A bit of sweet bread, lemon, and sugar, too. The flavor has some more tropical fruit notes to go along with the melon, lime, grass, and lemon. A touch of yeast and bready malt flavors. Lightly hoppy as well with some nice floral notes.

Well this has been my favorite WWB to date. Nice golden pour, white head. Aroma is full of nice juicy hops, some dry leathery notes, yeast, brett funk is noticeable. Flavor is hoppy but not bitter at all. I get a hint of an oniony note...but just light enough to keep it ok. Some funk, earthy notes. Very fun beer to drink.

Bottle sampled at Muckfest III. Clear gold pour with a huge off-white head. Aroma of brett, funk, lemon and malt. Malty and funky brett flavor with lemon balm character before a grassy finish.

Bottle at Muckfest III - Pours hazy yellow with a huge foamy white head. Nose is really juicy hops, tropical fruit, a little citrus, and a hint of spice. Taste is dry and spicy, with plasticy brett and pale malt. A little dry tartness. Too dry and spicy for my tastes.

Bottle shared at MuckFest 3 - Saturday Edition. Pours a richly hazed dulled golden hue, a touch darker in the body with frothy cakey offwhite head. Thick film, laces well. Aromas are rich green dank hops, touches of citrus, weeds and florals. Firm bretty presence is funky and cobwebs laden. Dry, funky, straw. Initial is more grapefruit brett slanted, bretty malts, touches of apple, pear, and richer green Galaxy hops. Dry and bitter after a sweeter touch of honey, doughy malts, gentle spice and yeast. Dry earthy and bitter hops, Galaxy, stick around and dry out into the finish. Dry and bretty and richly green fresh hops. Cobwebs, dry earthy hops bitter up the finish. Solid, with lingering dryness. Hops add a nice layer.

Poured from a bottle thanks to Kevin. Spicy, fruity, bready malts, slight citrus, and earthy notes. Solid Brett character, horse, spicy, earthy, and amazing. Great beer.
