COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Wild Brett is a series of R&D beers created to showcase the versatility of Brettanomyces, a yeast found naturally all over the world. Historically considered ”wild yeast”, Brett is responsible for 100% of the fermentation in the bottle you hold. This second installment of the series incorporates fresh Minneola tangelos, bitter orange peel and coriander in an unfiltered, slightly tart wild ale. Orange pours a golden hue delivering tropical fruit aromas and bright orange citrus flavors with a tart earthy finish.

Bottle. The pour was a murky medium orange with a large white pillowy head that lasted throughout and had excellent sheeting of lacing that totally coated the glass. The aroma was all about the citrus (tangerine and orange peel) with a big funky Brett yeast, a mild grain malt and a slight sourness. The taste was about the same as the aroma, lots of tangerine and a sweet tartness early on with the finish being about the same with a slight orange peel bitterness and a sweet sour ending. The flavor lasted a really long time proceeding the swallow and again was all about the tart citrus flavor. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a almost champagne like carbonation. Overall and exquisite tasting brew that had the sweet and the sour blending perfectly together along with a bold citrus presence and a ticklish carbonation, YUM...

Bottle thanks to Niels ! Pours a medium golden peach color with a two finger fizzy white foam. Tons of citrus character ranging from earthy bitter pith to juicy mandarin sweetness. Really well balanced with funk, tartness and a nice juicy underlying sweetness. Carbonation is spot on and this beer is amazingly refreshing. Layers and layers of citrus deliciousness wrapped in a funky brett blanket !

750ml bottle huge thanks to adnielsen and Lukaduke! Pours cloudy pale orange with big head. Nose is lots of dusty attic wood funk and some nice grainy earthy citrus, orange zest, barn. Taste still holds nice bright citrus candy, some dusty funk, dry wood, balanced brett. Finish is dry with some chalky orange pixie sticks, tangerine, zest. Really good.

Tasted on 2/8/14 from a gusher 750mL bottle at the RBWG Grand Tasting, thanks to Aaron Nielsen for sharing. Pours cloudy light orange with a massive white head that eventually settles into thick, rocky lace. The nose is fresh orange juice with bitter orange peel, along with some baking spice. The flavor is exactly the same, with a bit of added bread malt, the full orange and baking spice come through nicely. The body is medium with some light tannin, super lively, overactive carbonation, and a long orange juice and bitter orange peel finish.

Psyched to run through the whole set. Past it's prime though :( my fault. Still a fun night with the gang at Sante. A - pour is a clear light amber with no head. S - so weird! chemicals galore, fake ocean spray juice notes, tamarind, honey gone wrong, with some orange and tangelo. Wood stain, styro popcorn, cedar sache. M - light and tart. Not much carb. A little slick. T - same as the nose. O - past it's prime won't count against it 3.5 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle generously shared by Nielsen at the RBWG grand tasting. Cloudy canary yellow pour. Some really nice pineapple and lemon tartness. Moderate funk. Tasty, slightly tangy. Healthy amount of tropical fruit in the background. Really nice balanced acidity!
