Pours amber (surprise) with slight haze and a big yellow-cream head. The aroma is caramel, honey, some faint wood. The flavor is light caramel and cake icing sweetness with faint wood. Definitely drinkable, but not very memorable. Suttree (2708), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

This is not one of those times. Thanks to Springslicker for this one. JAF737300 (792), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 13, 2007 POurs somewhat rusty colored with an ample head. It shows notes of malt on the aromatics and then moves into the bitter finish of hops on the finish of the palate. goldtwins (4079), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 9, 2007 Poured a clear deep cooper color with a small off-white head that quickly diminishes. The aroma is a little thick with nutty, toasty and roasty notes. Strong honey notes as the beer warmed. Some sweetness with a light fruit quality. The flavor had a lightly roasted malt. The flavor was mouthfilling with malt. A moderate bitterness and CO2 tingle on the semi-dry finish. Medium bodied for the most part. Maverick34 (699), New York, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 18, 2007 Found a 4 pack of bottles at Shoreline yesterday. Pours a deep ruby amber with a thin off white head. Aroma is skewed way off to the crystal malt side, and not much of any hop character. Sweetish, caramel flavors, almost sharp, with a toasted almond hint in the aroma and flavor. Relativley clean with a slight slick finish. I would have liked more hops in this, but it was still decent. georgekappus (296), Brookfield, Connecticut, USA
