12oz Bottle. Noses light honey and stone ground mustard. Color of blended campari and coke, with a rim of off-white. Hazed. Initially, a really heavy set flavor to the beer, vinous in halloween candy and christmas chocolates. Weird spices originating from yeast off-flavors. Vague vanilla and butter. Caramels. Unique, but ends up tasting dirty and unclean. Finishes on nuts and toast. Interesting, but not really all that right. I can enjoy a good amber ale, but this one is all over the map.

Draft. Ehh. Sort of a dark ale w/strong taste of malt, finsihes with some hops. Started off interesting, but didn’t end that way.

bottle. smell was a little toasty and sour(not a good sign)... poured a nice rich copper color with about a centimeter of off-white head. carbonation was present but subtle, not sharp or caustic. toasted maltiness prevailed with some bitterness near the middle that quickly faded. definitely caramel... reminded me of birch beer but not as sweet. medium mouthfeel, not too much and not too little. the alcohol was just right; i can feel it without tasting it. however, nothing really special. it was nice, but once (or twice) is enough.

Skinnyviking (5712) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2007
Bottle. High white creamy and lasting head. Clear yellow body. Barley malt aroma. Sweet, smooth and mild barley malt flavor without much hops bitterness, carbonation or aftertaste. The malt aftertaste is there but generally this beer will soon be forgotten.

Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - MAY 27, 2008
Bottle. Pours an amber body with a finger white head. Aroma and flavor is sweet toasted malt, and caramel. This is not very good, even for an amber ale.

red-brown pour, off-white head aroma is pretty malty, with some pear and other fruit tastes kind of watered down, there’s some malt and very slight bitterness in the finish, but it’s kinda boring and i do not believe there’s 7% abv in here thin body also, but i guess that complements the lack of flavor

I too had this at Brewtopia and thought the beer was another sweet unbalanced amber ale that we need here on the East Coast like a hole in the head. I hope the guy does well, as he seems to be a cool dude.
