Very dark chestnut, but not quite brown. A thin scum on the top that represents a head. Slightly chocolatey malt with a touch of sourness, some dairy quality. Taste is quite long and malty, very lightly hopped, slightly metallic tinge with some nuttiness. Quite a nice one, with a warm throatfeel.

Cask at GBBF 2010, 4th Aug 2010. Dull copper brown colour. Coffee bean on the nose, weak flavour. Ok palate. Meh.

6 Quite rich roast at times.
4 Deep red, tiny head.
6 Sour mashy malts, grainy. Not on top form, I think.
3 A little watery. Drying. Some mushroominess in the finish.
11 Fairly refreshing, but lacking a hook

Deep golden. Small bubbly head.
Dry and floury aroma.
Malty in flavour with light bitterness. Also some broth-flavour.

Bottle. Pale brownish colour with an off-white head. Malty and fruity aroma. Flavor of malt, fruit, nuts, light chocolate, toffee, light roastiness. Light bitterness. Smooth and light bodied. Easy drinking.

Bottle (50 cl), thanks Jonte. Clear copper, medium off-white head. Caramelly and nutty, herbal and floral hops. Light in body, low carbonation. Dry with low bitterness.

Clear copper color, white head. Sweet, malty, sugary scent. Malty, thin, dry taste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottle at home ... from my Trip to Fins... copper ... thin white head ... sweet floral nose .... bitter fruits ... very floral and sweet ... thin and too floral ... no real body ... but palatable.

Amber brown with a small white head. Weak toffee and malt aroma. Sweet malty flavour with a fruity touch

Clear medium to dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, toffee, cheap chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090808]
