Cask conditioned at The Eagle & Child, Oxford. Copper to brown with yeasty head. Quite a malty sweet fruity beer, it was the last from the cask but still in reasonable nick. Fuller on the palate with an earthy roasty note. Pretty reasonable.

Sampler tray at Pontefract Castle, London. Muddy brown orange with beige clings. Funky aroma of dough and toast. Tastes primarily of toast--not toasted malt, but toast. Unusual.

pretty average beer except for its being a session. Served hand pulled with a creamy cream colored head with no lace. Color is medium amber. Aroma is hoppy, and malty. Flavor’s about the same. Good body and carbonatoin. Slight sweet finish with some bitter notes. Session beer.

Cask@Three Greyhounds, London. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is nuts, fruits, wood and some slight fruity notes. Flavour is fruits, nuts, mild wood as well as some slightly herbal notes.
