2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Extremely light looking beer with a fluffy pure white head. Aroma: Citric with hoppy notes, pretty summery with some green grassy smells. Exceedingly fizzy with a very well rounded flavour with the honey coming through late on. It begins tiggly and bitter with some caramel notes and mellows right down through a delicious maltiness to a nutty, honey finish. I couldn’t drink it all night but i agree with the bottle in that on a summers day it would be grand (if it were less carbonated).

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, 4.2%. Fruity and slightly sweet flavour. Almost clear pale yellow colour, small white head. The flavour is quite clean with a hint of honey. Not the sweetness from honey, but the flavour. One of the more successful of the honey beers i have had.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. A very average beer. A pleasant enough gold colour with a fluffy white head which faded away to a thin but persistent coating and left a good lacing. A light aroma with notes of hay and apples. On the palate, it is citric and refreshing, but without any real defining characteristics. The honey is almost unnoticeable, although it does leave a residual sweetness in the finish. Not a bad drop, but I wouldn’t buy it again unless nothing better was available.
