I sampled this after my mate gave me a bottle. It poured a very light colour and that instantly put me off as I prefer darker beers. However I found this to be a very refreshing beer on a hot day. Light and hoppy with a slightly fruity citrus aftertaste, very refreshing. Ideal for a lunch time pint on a hot summers day.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 TheGrandMaster (2313) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 26, 2006
From the bottle (courtesy of the London crew), very lively, poured a very clear amber with plenty of carbonation and a good white pillowy head. A hoppy aroma, full of fruits (melon) - clean and very enticing. Goes very eassy through the mouth, first releasing subtle fruit flavours (agree with the gooseberry) and leaving a lingering bitter finish. A very drinkable and tasty session beer.
