Bottle. Pours out in an opaque black colour with a creamy disappearing tan-coloured head. Rich and rounded aroma of roasted malts, almonds, figs, raisins, cocoa-powder and chocolate. Medium to full-bodied with notes of roasted malts butter, almonds and nuts. Long yet subdued finish of roasted malts, almonds, sweet licorice and prunes. A quite a rustic, charming and smooth take on the style.

Den här ölen föll mig inte alls i smaken, alldeles för mycket syra och fruktighet för min smak. Det enda positiva med ölen är dess länga eftersmak och låga kolsyrehalt.

Bottle. Black beer with a brown head. Chocolate aroma, cocoa, milk and licorice. Chocolate flavor, licorice, tar notres, figs, hoppy bitterness and some nuts. Quite nice body.

Cask. Brown head atop brown-black body. Aroma is moderately sweet, roast, coffee, light alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet, roast, bittersweet chocolate, coffee. Medium body, low carbonation.
