From bottle. Pours a hazy chestnut red with a light head. Flowers and hay on the aroma, with earth/soil. Mild bitterness and a slight sourness. Soft carbonation and light body make for an easy drink. Not a great drink... but nothing bad.

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 30, 2011
Weiter vollmundig, angenehm erfrischend. Nussig-säuerlicher, leider leicht wässriger Abgang. 11/11/11/10/10/11

Bottled. A murky chestnut coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma is woody and chocolatey which leads to a definite chocolate malt feel in the mouth. A slight BCA acidic tinge. Fruity, woody and ok.

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a big and rocky, slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty, slightly dusty and toasty malty nose with a tinge of berry fruits and citric hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toasty malt character with bready notes, caramel and a rather subtle fruity touch; quite dry, toasty and slightly hop bitter finish. Okay. 28.VII.10
