As "Cropton Marks & Spencer Yorkshire Bitter"
Shady orange color, white head. Hoppy, acidic, pommerance scent. Acidic, spicy, malty fresh taste. Medium mouthfeel. Low bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Amber body with a beige head. Vague malty aroma with a hint of sourness, might be oxidation? Flavor is slightly roasted malt with some chocolate. Thin and watery body make this unbalanced and quite boring.

(As ’Marks &Spencer Yorkshire Bitter’). Tangily hopped ruby bitter with a bready malt balance. Red berryish fruit, musty bramble, celery-like resins on snout (Fuggles), baked bread and dunked biscuit. But above everything, zesty hops oscillating between berry and citrus. Balanced, quenching and savoury. A generous dose of hops on the nose and beyond. Disappeared in about 5mins. Liked this.

Bottled. Thx rickgordon. Hazy amber with a small, bubbly head. Fresh and lsightly sourish aroma with citrus. A bit thin body. Flavour from hay, peat and tropical fruits.

Cask, gravity, at Cambridge Beer Festival ’08. Dark amber. Strongly malty aroma with yeast. Taste is very sweet and malty, almost too honeyed for my taste. But there’s a strong hoppiness too, even a little citrus. Rather an aggressive bitter, which I have to say I didn’t particularly like
