Bottle from The Ship In A Bottle, Liverpool. Poured a golden amber colour with an average sized off white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy, with caramel, citrus and grapefruit. Taste has a light sweetness and bitterness. Light body, texture is a touch thin but quite smooth. Average carbonation. Finish is a light hoppy bitterness. Enjoyed this, a good session ale.

Cask at White Cross Beer festival 2014. Dark orange gold with a thin white head. Nose is pungent - over-ripe oranges and floral notes. Crushed grasses and spice. Smooth drink inparting ripe oranges, a touch of mango and a little malt. Some light easy spice makes the finish special. Pleasant.

Half pint from the cask ale menu at Vernon Arms. Clear amber coloured body, tiny white head blanketing the glassware. Malt-fruity aroma, mid-sweet. Fruit hoppy taste with a caramel touch. Rounded bitter ending. Very smooth in the mouth. On par with the style, more or less (Liverpool, 08.04.2013).

Cask at The Wheatsheaf, Borough. Chestnut ale, headless. Bitter hops with a watery feel but decent length to the finish. A tad one dimensional but decent session ale.
