Another hop variety I never heard of. Where does Hutch find such things? Lovely translucent amber with off white foam head. Lacing coats ole’ Eric Lindros mug. Nose has a nice citrus tone. Taste starts with malt that is quickly washed by solid bitterness. Lemon and grapefruit on the finish. Yeah!

Yes, Hutch is a wonder of the hop bine. It is possible he was a hop plant in a past life. The Topaz certainly is the celebrity here. Up front, and all the way to finish. biting and floral this citrus banger is potent in both nose and body hop. Hard to believe this is only 40 IBU. The finish pucker is of note. Yum.....By the way UD....Lindros should have had a few of these and his concussions would not have been career ending.
