3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
from Erzbierschof - translucid bronze beer with a poor head retention; fruity hoppiness; a bit chewy marmalade-like; pretty tasty and medium-bodied; slightly tart and gently acidic; a bit spicy and more fruity hoppy tons in the finish - fresh and lively

6/VII/2012 - 50cl bottle from The Bottle Shop (Canterbury) @ home - BB: I/13 (2012-689)
Clear blond beer, small creamy white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lots of pineapple, passion fruit, citrus, bit cheesy, grains, sweet malts. MF: soft carbon, light to medium body. Taste: bit cheesy in the start, nice bitterness, some grapefruit, sweaty feet/cheese, little sweet. Aftertaste: grapefruit bitterness, grapes, pretty dry ending. I wouldn’t have minded a bit more body and malts.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Waitrose. Full golden colour, thin white head. Citrusy hop aroma. This is quite a well-balanced beer with a nice slightly drying citric bitter hop finish. Just a hint of booze, and possibly a touch thin before the hop kicks in. Good beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. Rated on 11.12.2010
Aroma is somewhat fruity with hops, some hay and grain typical to golden ales. Flavour is rather hoppy and fruity with some grapefruit, citron, biscuits and hints of grainy malt. Refreshing and very good beer in this style.
