Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 2, 2003 [Cask at Charlie's Bar] The aroma is very hoppy and sweet. There has been used a really good aroma hop. The aroma is like that of an IPA. The color is orange with a very small head. The hops hits You from the first sip - but is very well-balanced with a well proportioned sweetness. There has been used really good bitter hop as well as aroma hop. A really nice beer - just my style. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 29, 2007 Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Golden colour. Rich lychee aroma. Sweet and velvetty soft, really hoppy and somewhat sugary. Medium bodied with lingering bitter finish. Has this lovely seemless fhoppy flavour profile. With a tad less sweetness it’d be something mindblowing - now it’s just great. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jul 2, 2003 Updated: Aug 19, 20082008-06-16, Cask Conditioned at Cockney Pub, Århus, 8-4-7-3-15=37 Hazy blond color, creamy head. The hop gives a wonderful aroma, fruity. It has a lean flavor, with toffee, on the dry side; good bitterness level; but the end is quite weak.
2003-06-22, Cask Conditioned at Charlie’s Pub, Copenhagen, 9-4-9-5-17=44 Hazy orange color. Wonderful hop aroma, flowery and grassy. Velvety, a good maltiness completely overhelmed by the hop aromas. I love those hop infusions, I’m going to sleep very well tonight! Crouch Vale is definively one of my best breweries. oh6gdx (5680), Vaasa, Finland Aug 28, 2007 Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is really amarilloish fruity along with some slight caramel and spices. Flavour is hoppy, grassy and has some slight hints of alcohol. Also some wood and honey show closer to the finish. Really nice. duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Aug 6, 2005 Cask@GBBF 05’. Very smooth, aromatic and hoppy. Lots of lychee/grapefruit/citrus. With some citrus rind bitterness. Yes and a little spicy aswell. This was one of my favourites at the festival that is for sure. Very tasty indeed.
