June 2014 - Boadicea (abv 4.1%). Using lovely Boadicea hops for an all-English-hop beer, deep gold and delicious. One for the woad?

Backlog rating. Cask at CPK, London. It pours a clean rich golden / copper color with small tan head. Aroma is floral and biscuit, with note of caramel and bread. Taste is medium sweet and gently bitter, with notes of grass, citrus, biscuit and bread. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, nice enough bitter

Gravity at the Stowmarket Festival of Beer and Brewing. Golden with a big frothy white head. Lots of citrus in the aroma along with a little tin. The taste is pretty much the same. Lots of citrus with some tinny notes. Syrupy texture. OK.

Craft Holborn. Cask. Almost clear gold beer.Decent bubbly white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Fine carbonation. Very light pale malts, smooth. Mild sweet floral tones and a pinch of hop spice. Floral lemon and a whisper of esters. Finishes light with more floral tones. Quite ephemeral in one sense but also quite tasty. Enjoyed this.
