4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’12. Clear gold with white head. Well where do I begin? Lip smacking, thirst quenching and all that, there is a crisp, sharp body, clean, bittering and this is just the carrier for the big grapefruit kiss that the Citra hops give, this and a lemon follow up, howza. This is a fantastic beer and was the second to be finished off at the Festival but well and truly my favourite.

Cask at The Harp, London. Pours clear yellow with a fine white froth. Gorgeous zesty citrus with doughy biscuits, light grass and straw. Flavor follows perfectly and with superb balance. Moderately sweet with toasty hay, biscuits, crisp straw and lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Light sticky hops on the finish, light sweetness, hints of tangy citrus, more biscuits, straw, light grass and hay. Excellent golden ale.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London on 14th July 2012. Gold with white thin head of foam. Richly hoppy aroma. Exquisite hoppy blend in-mouth: grass and grapefruit are intense. Rich hoppy aftertaste with strong peanut nuttiness. Superb. Could stay on this all night.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cask @ CPK. Light golden color with a tight, creamy white head. The nose is lemon custard, cheesy funk. Some sweet syrup and lemon meringue pie. The taste is tangy citrus fruits, dumpster-salvaged sock. A bit dirty indeed. Hoppy and mildly bitter on the finish. Loads of character for such a modest ABV. Light body, soft. Overall, great.

Keg @ Bow Bar, Edinburgh
Golden blonde, crystal clear, thin white head
Aroma - Quite strong citrus grapefruit hops, fresh grapefruit pith, touch of gooseberry, soft sweet malts
Taste as aroma, fresh citrus grapefruit, nice zingy bitter zest, good soft sweet light pale malt background, excellent flavour
Palate - Light body bit quite oily, good bittersweet balance, nice bitter citrus zest counterbalanced by the soft sweet malt. Finish of soft bitter zest.
Overall - Excellent light golden ale, good showcase for the Citra hop in a session beer

Cask, gravity Banbury Beer Festival10.05.12 Pours light gold in colour with huge white head, crisp, bitter and really dry. Hops are glorious, furry hoppiness in the mouth. Glen recommended this and suggested that it could be his beer of the festival, personally I think that my beer of the festival was going to be a cider Tumpy Ground, however this was very good.
