A Mes rate:
Cask at the Market Porter. Nice clean amber colour with a thin but stable white head. Peachy hop aroma with nice mellow malt and grass and grapefruit underneath. Dusty hoppy flavour with plenty of grapefruit and some slight medicinal notes. Dusty and nutty finish. Nice clean mouth feel. Liked it and I’m not really a best fan.

Casked. Amberish copper coloured with small white bubbly head. Aroma is some caramel, wood with a nice fruity hoppyness coming along. Flavour is caramel malts with nice fruity and hoppy touches. Easy-to-drink thing, and rather refreshing.

Aroma gives a touch of toffee, grassy bittering hops. Taste is upfront bitterness from finish till end, touch of toffee malts, and well a bitter bitter finish, touch of spice off the malts if you search.

Cask (Queens Head, Chelmsford): Amber coloured, small, but firm head; slightly fruity, a bit malty, mainly "medical" aromatic hoppy nose; light sweetish, mainly robust bitter flavour, light bodied; slightly sweetish-fruity and very aromatic, herbal-hoppy finish. A well rounded, hearty, tasty bitter !

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Tawny brown Bitter, with a nice frothy head. Smells alright, but for the first half I found this a bit of a let down. Flavour shows good profile - sea salt, hops, leafiness, but is far too weak. Needs some hoppy punch which Crouch Vale usually delivers. A little wishy washy though it did improve as I got in. Not a bad flavour, just not enough.
