Ungstrup (11342), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 18, 2003 A slightly hazy yellow/orange beer with a small head. The aroma is hoppy with citrus notes. The flavor is very fresh fruity and flowery with notes of straws, lemonpeel, grapefruit, and aroma hops. A nice refreshing beer. fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jul 4, 2005 Cask Conditioned Hazy blond color. Very nice hoppy aroma, herbal and hearthy. Smooth, quite good, malty, very good hopping. Perfumy. Excellent, as usual. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Aug 17, 2004 Cask@GBBF 04’. You can always count on Crouch Vale. After a relatively poor run on English beer, me and ChrisO decided to go for this little number. Nothing fancy, just nice, solid, fresh and hoppy. Some subtle lychee and lemon fruit, nice dry, medium bitter finish, very more-ish, and very well balanced. harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 30, 2006 Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Golden beer with bubbly white head. Flowery, grassy hop which belies the intensity in the mouth. Flowery/floral hop, underpinned by biscuit malt with intense hop finish. Really tingles the tongue. Good supping beer. So good I had to get another half. Hildigöltur (5056), København Ø, Denmark Jun 3, 2004 [Cask conditioned] Hazy golden coloured. Some hoppiness and some bitterness in the finish. Fresh, but light.
