Stefano (970), Esbjerg, Denmark Jul 20, 2008 Dark brown to amber coloured beer with a thick white head. Bready malt aroma. Flavor is dry and hoppy, with hints of citrus fruit. Too watery in the finish.
Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 21, 2008 Cask at Dronning Louise, Esbjerg. A hazy dark golden beer with a huge cream colored head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw and brewmash. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as lighter notes of alcohol and metal - is the metal due to the fact that the cask has been open for 3 days? The finish is bitter and metallic. Mes_and_Sim (4176), London, Greater London, England Jul 10, 2008 A Mes rate: Gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival. Amber colour with a thin off white head and good condition. Very grassy and floral with some good caramel malt and nice spice. Well balanced. Straight forward and slightly boring but solid and drinkable.
