3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep golden color with a tinge of Amber. Big, soft hoppy brew that shows apples and oranges through out, that bordered on being citrusy and was the closest beer I tried in the UK to an American Pale Ale. Hop character really shines. Smooth moderately bitter finish. Excellent.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask gravity at Oxford Beer Festival 16-10-08 This beer pours a clear amber colour, some bubbles. Some vanilla starts to show along with a lazy lingering bitterness, I found this to be just very ordinary its absolutely fine but for me thats not good enough for Crouch Vale they can and do, do much better than this.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask @ The Wenlock in the company of TimE. Clear amber with a thin white head. Sweet bready malts and fruity hops in the nose, some toffee also. Flavour is sweet with bready malts, apple notes and a good hop biterness in the finish...does what it says on the tin. I intended to have a night off rating but couldn’t resist a Crouch Vale, had no idea I’d have to add it though...
