[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A red beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is very nutty and slightly acidic combined with notes of wood and berries, leading to a dry end. The body is a little thin.

Cask. Roasty, smokey aroma. Very dark brown colour, stable white head. Nicely roasted flavour, fawcett malt? Aftertaste is a little watery, but with a little fruit and mold.

Hand pulled at Out of the Vaults, Leicester. Toasty brow colour, with a bit of froth. Tobacco notes. Sweaty, thinnish Mild, with some spaced-out coco. A tinge of tropicality, otherwise fairly smooth amd plain. OK, but not as good as Crouch Vale’s Blackwater Mild.

[Cask conditioned] Inferior Paint Job. Beautiful dark reddish brown coloured. Malty aroma with notes of molasses. Very mild and malty flavour with some sweetness. Slightly thin. A nice but very mild mild ale. I expected a little bit more from Crouch Vale.
