Mysterious, deep red beer with plentiful hop character and a long, bittersweet finish.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Chestnut colour with white head. Cor, this ones a surprise, almost against calling it a bitter. Dark roasted malts, sweetish with chocolate malts, then a coffee note and then a zesty, american hop flavour zinging across the top. Very interesting and flavoursome, to me another C.V winner.

A dark orange brown coloured beer with a weak off-white head. A hoppy nose, fruity, but a bit sour, plus a hint of yeastiness. A dry zesty taste, hoppy, orange fruit flavour with a malty background flavour, that is taken over by a bready yeast flavour in the finish. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds, Heacham, Norfolk).

Cask, Newark Fest 07. Toffee coloured with a small head. Aromsa are weetabix and toffee malts with chocolate and spices. Some Autumn fruit with herbal notes. Flavours are sweet malts with lots of toffee. Floral and herbal with dark chocolate bitterness on the finish.
