Cask: Special - March & April 2011.
Fulfilling a long-held ambition to make another beer with Amarillo hops, a very pale beer with the new Amarillo crop in it. Aromatic? You don’t know the half of it...

Cask @ CPK. Golden body with a tiny white head. The nose is acidic sweet lemon, cut grass and some mildly menacing funk. The taste is tangy skunky hops. Lemon rind and cheesy funky yeastiness. Sweet citrus. Quite dirty in a good way. The finish is dry and refreshingly bitter. Very drinkable smooth body. Light. Silky soft carbonation. Very nice from Crouch Vale.

Cask. Pours golden with a slight haze and a lacing white head. Lovely sweet fruit in the nose with a lemon twist - but also a discreet whiff of diacetyl. Medium body, low carbonation, sweet fruitiness and some pleasant citrusy hops that also leave a fairly bitter finish. Delicious. 180412
