330ml bottle. Like most wheat beers the big white fluffy head of foam dominates and then settles. Amber and bright with some cloudiness but not too much. Bananas, cloves and bubblegum in the aroma and this carries through to the crisp clean taste.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Vas (64) - NEW ZEALAND - JAN 31, 2011
Bottle. Cloudy yellow with big pillowy head. Plenty of spicy clove and some banana in the aroma. Taste is fairly dry, spicy clove, slightly bready malt character. Expected slightly more from Croucher who make outstanding Pilsener and Pale Ale.

Tap at Underground. Very aromatic hefeweizen. Aromas of banana, and coriander. Taste is sweet, with average duration. Oily palate, with a thin-to-medium body. Yellow colour, with a frothy head.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 EastCoaster (122) - USA - JUL 30, 2009
Brilliant pour, straw like in color and slightly hazy, very strong hints of banana and a more subtle clove character. A very refreshing brew and what I would make as my choice if seeking such.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 DuffMan (4414) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 15, 2009
Bottle. Pours a hazy honey gold with a medium off-white head. Strangely hoppy aroma, tropical fruit mostly, no real spice in the aroma. The flavour profile has a wee bit of banana, but mostly tropical fruit, again no real spice. A little estery, but the finish is quite bitter-- not a quality I want in my hefe.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 nate2g (1548) - Marlborough, NEW ZEALAND - APR 11, 2009
Draught. Pours a cloudy orange with a creamy head. Aroma is wheat, citrus, banana and yeast. Flavour is wheat, citrus and banana ester. Mild bitterness and good finish to the beer.

..bottle from Purvis, drank from the bottle, so no real comment on appearance, but id did seem to have a good bit of sediment, which must be present in any wheat\wit. I got some great cotton candy\bubble gum, fruity notes on this one, I was surprised. Hints of bananna, with a bsmall touch of clove in the background. A little thin bodies, but oh well, it was still nice. Finished yeasty, and candy-like, nice brew. I have been trying some of the NZ brews lately, and I’m rather impressed, I had no idea they could replicate wits\wheats so well.

Pours cloudy golden, white head. Aromas are strong. With banana & bubblegum pervading. Some kind of citrus fruit is present also. Taste is full of banana and bubblegum, quite sweet and a little watery in texture. A touch of coriander is there, but weak behind the banana.
