The head is good, the body blond. It smells hopintensive, bit malty, sweet, aromatic. the taste is sweet-hoppy, maltaromatic, bit spicy, hoparomatic, balanced. In the aftertaste a bit strange combinated, but not bad. 12/11/11/10/-/11

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle @ Frankie’s Pizza Sydney which has a fine selection of craft beers but then proceeds to serve them in plastic glasses (WTF!?). A decent hoppy NZ pilsner with grains, lychee and Sauvignon grape elements on the nose and tongue. Pours clear bright golden with decent white head. Light-medium body with crisp refreshing finish. Not as good as Emerson’s version though.

Floral nz hops -rambutan and melon as well. Slightly doughy pale malt accent. Light and dry. Malts are understated but show a bit in the finish. Hops are slightly fruity, slightly woody. Nice.

Clear golden amber, large, quick settling head. Smells grassy and floral hops, a little pine, lemon and some malt. Tastes..hop fruitiness, grapefruit, some resinous hop bitterness. Crisp, good for a pilsner as they say.
