Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of hops and a lighter touch of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and hops.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear golden with a small, off-white head. Very fresh and flowery hop aroma. Medium body with a solid and lightly sweet malt base with a lovely floral hoppiness in the finish that also contains a solid bitterness. Another lovely NZ micro pilsener. 050208

Floral nz hops -rambutan and melon as well. Slightly doughy pale malt accent. Light and dry. Malts are understated but show a bit in the finish. Hops are slightly fruity, slightly woody. Nice.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold with a thick dense white head that leaves early lace. Interesting floral and tropical fruit (mango) hop aroma. Clean pale malts with lots of aromatic hops, tropical fruit, goose berries, and capsicum. Very bitter finish. Similar hop profile as their APA, but I found the hops married better to the toasty toffee malts of the APA. Still, a nice brew.

Bottle. A bit pricey in Calgary but it is a bit of a distance. Dark amber with a nice foam and lace. Good carbonation. Hoppy aroma, a bit of pepperiness and some caramel touches. Moderate malt body and a good hop flavour. Has a bit of that roughness I remember foundly from my first Urquells ten years ago. A bit of vegetable note in the finish and then a long hop aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear pale golden body with large white body. Good lacing. Hops on the aroma also a bit too much in the taste with not enough malt support also definitely overcarbonated. I like crisp pilseners which this was just didn’t do much for me.

330ml bottle. Pours a clean looking orange colour with a puffy cloud like head of white foam. Malty orange aroma that is refreshing and clean. Full crisp flavour with some citrus flavours along with some honey. Light and airy and pleasant to drink. Clean on the palate and this is a very good pilsener and another good brew from Croucher.

Drinking recently on tap at Brew on Quay in Auckland - where it has been my beer of choice over the Epic Pale Ale. High praise indeed!
