Tasting Notes: Appearance - A rich rose-gold hue, with good head. Aroma - Massive up front fruit with strong freshly crushed grain. Passionfruit and lychees predominate with a stonefruit undertone - fruit salad on weetbix. Grassiness from three Nelson hop varieties compliment the fruit to give an aroma reminiscent of a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc but the grunt in the palate leaves you in no doubt that this is a very serious beer. Body & Mouthfeel - Very smooth with a gorgeous lingering finish. Delicious burps.

"Serious beer" not so much, "interactive beer" a bit. "Likeable beer", for sure. This, I think, is my first Croucher Beer, and Iím a bit impressed. I get the passionfruit, I also get a toffee thing, and I for sure get grassiness. However it isnít a beer that that I think I could al my faith in, but as a time an place thing and with food as a side this would be a great afternoon in.

Caught the aroma of hops while pouring the golden brown liquid in the glass. Medium hops. I have tried a few Kiwi beers and like the hop varieties they use. Bitter finish balances with the sweet malt. Each sip cleanses the palate. Very good beer.

Roche Miette looms. Let make this uber quick: mild amber, foamy off white head rims. Air holes: grass, fragrant floral, teh wonderfulness of Nelson with a touch of watermelon. Flap: Yum! Fruits - dirty things like orange or whatever, mild lemon, faint spice, grass, love the bitter level - soft yet demanding at the same time, tropical things. Quietly complex. Wonderful. Going to have to check the price on this one next time. Get it! Itís got Nelson hops - you need nothing else in your life.

500ml bottle pours a deep golden color with a 2 finger white head with good retention leaving some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is passionfruit with some citrus and grass and some grains. Taste is passionfruit and grainy malt sweetness with some citrus and grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with some decent carbonation. A very well done pale ale that is very tasty and worthy of a great tasting experience.

nothing special, nothing bad. Standard pale ale, easy to drink but nothing that made me want to have it again

The best example of an American-style pale ale coming out of New Zealand. Perfect in every way, with a fantastic floral aroma coming from New Zealand grown Cascade hops. As the bottle says - lovely burps.

Dark reddish. Short lasting head. Fruity nose, a little tangy at first, maybe a bit too carbonated. Fruity flavor with a good balance of maltiness and hops. Pomerance and grapefruit. Delicious burps? Yeah!

Pours a nice dark copper with quickly fading head and ok lacing. Very subtle aroma of citus/grapefruit and hop resin. I very nice resin and subtle citus flavor with a decent malt backing. Being a pale ale the flavour is light but oh boy it is perfectly balanced with the malt, this is very drinkable a great quaffer kudos Croucher.
