COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop aroma and flavor dominate this IPA. However, the malt character of this deep amber colored ale nicely balances the hop component thus avoiding a harsh bitterness. A truly quaffable beverage!

Can from Mike, thank! Pour is a clear copper, light white head that fades very quickly, but leaves nice lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel malt, light pine and citrus hops. Tastes pretty much like it smells, a bit spicier than the aroma lets on. Not bad, but nothing really catching.

This is a pretty run-of-the-mill IPA. It delivers the hops but doesnít have the fresh, vibrant character the best of the style has. It is pretty standard across the board otherwise. Thereís citrus and pine in the nose. Itís a bit sweet which brings out some mango and tangerine notes and itís medium boded and a bit sticky w/ resinous bitterness in the finish. It sounds good on paper but itís pretty muted generally. It is drinkable but unexceptional.

Shared at RBSG 2014. Nose is orange and citrus with some fruitiness. Taste is initially bitter then opens up some hop flavor. Decent.

From notes. Draft. Hazy orange amber color, small off white head. Aroma of floral citrus. Taste is more malt forward, but with a bit of earthiness as well. Overall not bad.

Recieved in trade. The appearance was a clear golden close to a yellow colored body with a super thick one and a half fingered white foamy head. It rises a tad and drops at a nice pace yet it still maintains a decent level head for the most part, lacing is sporadic and clings all over the place - for the most part - its a nice show. The smell has a nice piney and somewhat floral sort of aroma gracing my nose in a somewhat earthy/herbal sort of way. The taste was sweet piney and floral-ness coming through and leaves no aftertaste but a slightly dry finish. On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium, hmmmm...sessionable - sure - I think I could see this with some pepperoni pizza. Carbonation is just right for an AIPA. Overall, in my opinion, this is a good AIPA, well worthy of anyone who seeks it, nothing wrong with it however, thereís nothing spectacular either.

An average type IPA. Not bad. Poured from the can into a tulip glass. Decent color, average golden. Not as much on the nose as I like, just typical citrus and floral notes. A little malt backing, would have liked more for more backbone.

12oz bottle pours a clear amber wheat. Average attempt at an IPA. Light hop aroma with a crisp finish.

Can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark gold with minimal head. Aroma is mostly citrus with a hint of pine. Taste is medium bitter. Grapefruit and pine. Light bodied with a surprisingly watery texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Nothing really special here but drinkable and very enjoyable.

Thanks to a77cj7 for this extra. Cheers Chris! A: Pours an orange amber with excellent clarity. 1-2 finger peanut head dissipates to a moderate sheet of the same. Thick, sheeted lace (not plural, all one wave - nice) S: Hmmm. Can says IPA, nose says amber/marzen. Vienna malts barely even notched with a hare of citrus hop aroma. T: Yep, this is an octoberfest, itís gotta be. Maybe it was canned incorrectly. There are some tones of bitterness, but nothing memorable. M: Medium body, medium carb. Average feel. O: Yup, now I can say I had it, canít say I want it though. Maybe if I new the can date... Sad state of affair. Serving type: can 03-23-2011
