COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop aroma and flavor dominate this IPA. However, the malt character of this deep amber colored ale nicely balances the hop component thus avoiding a harsh bitterness. A truly quaffable beverage!

Pretty standard IPA. In the Black Hills this goes for $12 a 6 pack of cans. Was hoping for more. Much better IPA's out there at a better price. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap in Sioux Falls. No detailed notes - average IPA, maybe a little more malty than some might like for the style.

Can thanks to Marc. Pours a clear yellow orange with a white head. Aromas of grassy hops and wet leaves with a mild hint of citrus. Taste is medium bitterness. Body is medium to light. Pretty unremarkable but nothing wrong with it.

Can. No date. Bland. Super light thin body. Very stale/ muted hop flavor and taste. Not super enjoyable first South Dakota beer. I'll chalk it up to being old and try em again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour on tap at Independence Ale House, slightly hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange, pine, grass, herbal notes into a bit of bread, biscuit, some spice. Taste was a mix of orange, more pine, resin, grass into lots of spice, some bread and malty dough, finishing fairly bitter.

A touch of bitterness but that quickly fades into a wateriness. Perfumy, floral, but overall not a very interesting IPA. On tap at Blue Moose, East Grand Forks.

Pours a hazy orange with a medium white head...nice light lacing and retention. Aroma has some citrusy hops, a bit of tea, and a hint of cereal...nice orange and grapefruit. Flavor follows suit but is more rindy/bitter than citrusy...tasty. Mouthfeel is light / medium and the finish is dry and rindy / grapefruity/piney. Nice and crushable.

Pours an orange color with a low, off white head and has a very low amount carbonation. Aroma has a floral and light orange citrus hoppy nose with a touch of caramel and toasted malt. Flavor starts off with quick hit of orange citrus but quickly transitions to a hay and caramel maltiness that lends a smooth dryness to the beer. Body is light with almost zero carbonation. The beer’s combo of hoppiness and light toasty malt lends a touch of dryness at the finish that matches the flavor profile well. Overall a good IPA. The hops and malt combine to form a non-unique flavor profile but definitely drinkable.

Well balanced, malt-forward, and quite enjoyable. Slight sweetness in the malt bill. Hops just enough to remind you it’s an IPA.
