Bottle thanks to Keith (fata2683): Poured a dark chocolate with light white head. Aroma is dark sweet aged bakers chocolate. Taste is rich bakers chocolate with soft malts that actually keep this from being sweet, mild hops in the end.

Roasted caramel malty scents and flavored. Gritty mouthfeel maybe like the dirt?? Overall good start to evening and 12 days of Xmas

[355ml can courtesy of cgarvieuk] Very deep brownish black pour, thin tan lacing from the can. Chocolate and slightly coffee nose. Coffee and ash on the palate. Bitter, but with some roast. Tastes like a good session porter. Could definitely drink a few of these, which would be dangerous at just a nadge under 7%

Can at Craig’s. Pours a very dark brown colour with a lacy tan head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, roasty malt and coffee. Beautiful oily mouth-feel with similar flavours. Moderate carbonation and CO2 prickle. Very nice.
