Thanks to Dave for the growler! Poured lovely medium fiery orange with a tall cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up juicy grapefruit, peaches, and apricot over a soft, sweet honey-kissed core.. some pine and warm boozy overtones..really nice. The flavor found honey and candied caramel surrounded by prickly grapefruit and black pepper.. tacky and bitter at the end, losing some pop from the nose. Medium-plus bodied and a little syrupy on the palate.. somewhat buttery on the middle.. just an OK feel.. started better than it finished.
