On draught at the brewery’s taproom in Spearfish, South Dakota. Pours a clear light coppery amber brew with a thick creamy off-white head that has some good retention and lacing. Aroma of light fruity character, some caramel malt, a touch of flowery hops and some orange zest. Taste is light to medium bodied, lightly carbonated, with flavors of light caramel malt and just a hint of flowery hops. Finish is smooth, creamy with a light malt aftertaste. Hardly any bitterness in this amber-style ale.
