On tap at Crowbar. Something as rare as a cream ale in this country. The beer has a golden straw color with a slightly off-white foam. The aroma is slightly fruity, but pale malt and hay dominates. The taste is good and dry with more pale malt, hay and hops. Mouth feel is smooth and has a light to medium bitterness. Feels like a real golden ale with good taste, but a little weak aroma.

200ml served chilled from tap at the brewpub. Bright amber coloured body. Bubbly surface, decent lacing. Modest aroma of caramel malts, semi-sweet. Herbal hops and mid-sweet caramel malty taste. Satisfying dry, bitter tail. Clean and very smooth in the mouth. Pleasant (Oslo, 22.02.2013).

Draught @ Crowbar og Bryggeri. Golden blond coloured beer with some light but steady carbonation. Small white head. Rather sweet floral hoppy hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is nice bitter hoppy with a longer bitter dry ending. Rather nice.

From tap @Crowbar, Oslo. Deep bright golden. Firm white head. Aroma of toasted, light grainy malts. Hint of apple-fruitiness and grass. Light malt body. Gently sweet and mild grainy. Grass and hay from the hops. Slick and thinnish in the mouth. A tiny piney hop bite in the finish. Drinks ok, a little anonymous. [13.12.12]

Small white head. Clear pale amber body. Earthy herbal dried fruit aroma with wooden resiny notes. Dry-sweet wooden spicy cinnamon taste with papery strawy mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mealy, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Dry resiny fruity aftertaste with spicy wooden notes. Nice, but a bit harsh and papery. (0.4l draft at brewpub.)

Slightly dark golden colour with a fine white head. Hoppy and light fruity aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweet and a fine bitterness. Nice fresh hoppy flavour. To me this could have been a pale ale. Nice session beer.

On tap at the Crowbar pre opening night. Lovely brass color. Smooth, nutty, well balanced, won’t offent. Dry tail. But, to be honest, this is a boring style.
