COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by a beer from back home in Canada and looking to do a nice, light flavoured beer we have made a green tea and citrus peel beer. It was very necessary to make this beer pale in colour, low in bitterness and alcohol to allow for the green tea flavours to be noticed. The orange & lemon peel plus lemon grass was put in because everyone likes the flavour of citrus, right? 4.5%, really subtle and enjoyable on the tea flavour.

Tap at brewpub, january 26th 2012. Hazy copper body, just a tiny rim of white head. good malt and citrus aroma with a spicy twist I guess are rose hips. Quite refreshing. Taste of fruit and pepper, yeast, light caramel, all with a soft bitter presence, more carbonated than it looked, aftertaste of tea and honey.

Draught @ Crowbar og Bryggeri. Clearl blond coloured beer with none to very light carbonation. Small white head. Very nice refreshing green tea and citrussy fruity hinted aroma. Full palate. FInish is sweeter, again clear hints of green tea. Orange peel not really comming trough. Green tea taste lasts longer. Different and deffinitly not bad!

On tap at Crowbar & Bryggeri, Oslo. Deep golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, carame and tea. Medium sweet and caramelly with noticable tea flavour and a slightly dry and bitter finish with notes of tea and citrus. Quite well balanced. Nice enough, but a bit weak in flavour even if the tea is obvious enough. (2013-02-03)

Copper clear, white head. Smells of burned malts, hops, rubber and some farmacy aromas. Moderate sweet, clean and dry. Moderate bitter finish, here i find the tea and zests from the peel. A well crafted beer, the peel and lemon grass are maybe a bit hidden in the back; the malts are quite dominant.

Small white head. Clear deep yellow body with light carbonation. Light fruity spicy herbal aroma with gooseberry and cedar wood notes. Dry-sweet lemongrass and cedar wood taste with gooseberry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel, slightly astringent at the end. Dryish spicy cedar wood aftertaste with dried fruit notes. Nice, fresh, clean, balanced and highly drinkable. Good session beer. (0.4l draft at brewpub.)

Sobtle tea and citrus nose. More tea and oranges than beer, perhaps. I would like a beer with more character as the base, this is mostly about the added flavour.
