Ruby-hued brown body. Low dense tanned head. Soft rounded dark malts and subtle licorice to the nose. Smooth and juicy mouthfeel. Taste is sweet and more licorice forward. A fine roastiness, some fruit notes, and gentle bitterness underneath. Balanced with well integrated flavors. [Draft at Crowbar, 07.02.14]

On tap @ Crowbar. This is a dark almost ruby amber brown one, quite dark in the glass and it has a small beige really sidesticking top. On the nose it’s mildly fruited, soft roasted also with tones of coffee, leather and mild smoke. Fair, nothing extraordinary. Tastes alright. Quite roasted and definitely licorice sweet flavors! Lots of dark caramel sweetness wrapped in a thin oily mouthfeel and a average carbonation level. This was actually quite tasty. Would not mild drinking this again. Get vanilla traces in the finish. Grows better and better. 16.02.2014

Rødsvart farge med tynt beige skum. Lukter malt og karamell. Tynn mild porter og ikke mye lakris/salt smak. Lettdrikkelig med medium kullsyre. lite bitter i ettersmak.

13.02.2014. On tap at Crowbar & Bryggeri. Black colour. Aroma of dark light roasted malts and Liqourice. I have to say I like the soft subtle. Liqourice aroma. Very nice together with the sweet dark malts.

On tap at Crowbar. Pours very dark clear ruby with a small off-white head. Aroma is nice liquorice and soft malty. Taste is light bitter/sweet malts, with a nice liquorice bitter finish, light sticky mouthfeel, lingering soft liquorice, nice threat for a liquorice lover.

Appearance: Deep dark and subtle red color with a tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Malty, roasted malt and some fruity notes.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Fruity, mild spicy, a bit roasted malt and malty.
Overall impression: Pleasant and easy drinkable porter. But not much licorice.
