"Deep amber body with a huge off white head and thick lacing. Sweet malty aroma with lots of caramel and noble hops. Medium bodied and very malty. Caramel and biscuit with notes of raisin and berries."

This lager has a clear amber hue with a frothy white foam head. Not much of a nose on it, but there are traces of caramel and toast. Sweetness is prominent, but it is well balanced by a little spicy bitterness. The mouthfeel is very impressive for a lager, as it has lively carbonation with an underlying creaminess. A good brew to begin your evening or wash down a meal.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2010 This draft brew from the brewery poured no head to speak of except for a few finely sized clear colored bubbles that were fully diminished and left behind a uncarbonated hazy brown colored body. The weak aroma was malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of Vienna malt and hops . An OK brew just nothing special.

Draft sample. Pours a clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate sweet toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a thick texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of average duration. Would go well with spicy food.

This was recommended. Weird to have a marzen in May, but whatever. Dark, some cola malt flavors. Pretty robust. Lots of yeast and orange flavors. Fairly dry mouthfeel. Nice orange color.
