COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
PATRICK- Pat Tilman Memorial Beer

This red ale is brewed in honor of Patrick Tilman, the Arizona Cardinal, who lost his life serving his country. The beer has a lovely red halo or color, with an aroma that is hoppy and sweet. Brewed with Glacier and Vangaurd hops, its carmelly sweet palate gets swept aside as hop flavor takes over, thanks to a healthy dry hopping. Patrick finishes with a dry mouthfeel, so you will be ready for another. A portion of "PATRICK" sales go to the Pat Tilman Foundation. 42 IBUs, SG 1.053, 13.3°P, 5.1% ABV

"Decent ale, touches on a few categories but doesn’t seem to fit any specific style assertively. Light copper color with a red tint, off white head and solid lacing. Citrus hop aroma along with grass and bread notes. A bit lighter than it looks, clean finish and fairly balanced with a faint hop presence. Nutty, sweet, moderately hoppy and fairly tasty all around."

Didn’t really notice too much of interest with this beer. It was light yellow color and a little hazy. Not too much of a head. Some hop, citrus flavors. Not a lot of malt. Decent, but nothing too distinguishing.

Tap: Brillant reddish hue with a moderate frothy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of resiny, herbal and grassy hops along with a healthy among of caramel/crystal malts, doughy pale malts, slight hop spice, and a almost woody vapour. The taste is quite well balance with vibrant hops balancing the sweeter malt supported by a light spicy and earthy finish. Simple but very nice palate for the genre. The mouth feel is lively and refreshing. It is almost an Amber Ale for hopheads, not your average run of the mill offering for sure.
