Orange-brown, thin off white foam. Aroma is nutty, sweet, toffee, toasty malts. Taste is sweet, toffee, nutty, then a wash of metallic grassiness in the finish.

On tap at the Crown & Goose. Pours sort of brown, kind of copper. A tight head forms on top. The aroma is restrained but has some Brit hops, toffee and nuts apparent. Mouthfeel is medium. Flavor is ok. Hints of toffee, almonds and Oktoberfest are noted. Not too terrible. My singlemost complaint is that it becomes unpleasantly sticky halfway down the pint.
