...I never understood why everyone thinks this beer is so good. Slight hop notes, but other than that, nothing. Just expensive, with that cardboard aftertaste, not worth it.

Little hop aroma. Clear yellowy colour with a flat pouring head (not to style at all). Too sweet with too little bitterness for the style. Watery body suggesting the use of adjuncts. Probably perfect for those who enjoy Crown but want to look cool by drinking something different.

Better than the original Cornw Lager, but that’s not saying much. Decently drinkable in an absurd kind of way. Is a bit crisper than it’s daddy and goes down a bit more easily. I prefer this to Crown Lager, but I don’t seek out either of them.

This is awful, plain awful. I knew it was not promising when it poured with no head (most un-pilsener like) and had no aroma (most un-pilsener like). If they had any more sugar in this, it would send most people in to type II diabetes after more than a mouthful. It is horrifically sweet and has no bitterness to balance it. I am not a huge fan of the standard crown lager, but i have to say that I would take that anytime over this rubbish. This is a new low for CUB, i thought that empire Lager was as low as they could go, i am unpleasently proven wrong.
