Bottle- Pours a copper color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel, some citrus and a hint of spice. Taste of malt sweetness, caramel, some grain and a bit of spice. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, smooth with a nice texture. Quite enjoyable. nice beer from a regional brewer.

Wonderful deep and sweet caramelized aroma and taste. Nice amber appearance. Very clean lager. Medium body, medium carbonation, and medium IBUs. This is a tasty and well balanced brew.

Tasted from bottle into nucleated pint glass. Poured a nice clear amber color with fluffy white head, somewhat lasting. Very neutral aroma, but very faint malt, earthy/citrusy/mildly spicy hops, a little lager yeast pepper phenol. Flavor was restrained too, but malt-sweetness and tangy hops bitterness were perfectly balanced, vaguely reminiscent of freshly-baked bread, honey, apricots, caramel. Light-medium body, average carbonation, well-rounded mouthfeel. Crisp, clean lager finish. Not a remarkably flavorful beer, but no flaws either. I would describe this as a perfect table beer. I drank mine with fish and chips, coleslaw and orange slices. I gotta tell you, this beer made the meal heavenly. A more extreme brew would’ve been distracting. Recommended.

Draft at the brewpub. It poured a dark golden color with an off-white head. The aroma was of malt, caramel, and bread. The taste was of the same with a bit more maltiness and sweetness.

Bottle. Clean, clear amber pour with a mid sized off white head. Some roasted caramel malt in the aroma. Nice flavor overall with a tiny bit of hop bitterness in the finish.

12 oz bottle purchased at Lukas in Kansas City, Missouri. Pour is a light haze golden orange with a one inch slightly off white head. Aroma is sweet malt, grass and toffee caramel. There is also a hint of vanilla, and some earthy yeast. Mostly about the malt sweetness though. Taste is the sweet malt, red apple fruit and caramel, along with the earthy grass in the finish. Nice spicy hop presence as well. Palate is medium bodied, lower carbonation level, sweet and yeast linger a bit long in the finish. I always like the amber lager style, and this one was nice, though a tad sweet for my tastes.

Clear amber with an evaporating tan topper that wastes away to pond scum. Aroma is odd, with caramel, grains and toasted malt. Taste is pretty much just beer, caramel and water with a hint of bitterness on the back end. Pretty blah, but aren’t all ADLs?

Minimal, non-offensive odor. Deep brown chestnut color. Not quite opaque, but pretty close. Mellow dark malt flavors with a smooth sugary finish. Mild hop balancing, no real stand out characteristics. Very easy drinking with a pleasant body

Clear amber, medium white head. Caramel aroma. Taste is medium caramel malts, light hops, crisp finish. Average Sam Adams Boston Lager clone. "American Dark Ale"? Stupidest style on this site (well, maybe "Premium Lager", which is what Sam Adams is.)

[Bottle] Pours an even amber color with about an inch worth of off-white head. Caramel and molasses in the aroma. A solid malty body with hints of cinnamon and clover honey. Average mouthfeel and body. This beer is very drinkable and clean, but could use a little bit more zing.
