Gold pour, with pale malty, hopcitric nose. Tastes well rounded with some finishing fruity notes to match the pale malt and hopcitrus. This is a well made lager.

seymour (1456) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Tasted at the St. Louis Brewers Guild Heritage Fest 2013 in a sampler glass. It poured a crystal-clear yellow colour with white foam, lasting with some lace. Classic, true-to-style lager characteristics: mostly neutral but faint notes of crisp grains, freshly cut grass, noble hops, mellow and well-balanced bittersweet flavors. Good stuff. I usually only taste their stuff at local beer fests, but I’ve noticed they keep quietly producing great "sleeper tracks." I know they’re best known as a winery, but I’m starting to think Crown Valley is an underrated brewery.

   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 14/20
EtTuCthulhu (1075) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - JUN 16, 2013
The appearance looks like a standard lager with its clear golden color and minimal white head, and the aroma smells strongly of sweet dough yeast and slightly of bread malts. The taste is mildly sour and a touch sweet, which balances out quite nicely, and the palate combines a sour finish, thin texture, medium body, and an average carbonation.

hfmejias (745) - Dover, Delaware, USA - JUN 16, 2013
12 Oz. Bottle. Pours pale clear golden, small white head, hardly any lacing. Aroma is spices, malts and grain. Taste is slightly bitter, grain, hops some spices and some fruit, a bit watery. Refreshing, decent beer easy to drink.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy malts, husky almost, with some light toasted bready notes and low bitterness. Quite good.

AmEricanbrew (5863) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Clear golden color with off white head. Black pepper, dusty pale malt, dry spice aromas. light body, average carbonation. Decent semi-dry pale malt flavors with some lightly sweet berry fruits--crisp finish--not bad.

On tap at a resort in Orlando. Dull golden pour and some fluffy white head. Nose of grains, skunk, and funk. Odd taste as well - dirty.

wlajwl (3931) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Aroma is a mix of bready malts and pilsner-like hops. The flavor is mildly sweet malts, a hint of fruit and a smooth finish.
