Bottle. Clear yellow golden pour with a big head. Wheat, grain, grass. Grainy sweetness. Crisp carbonation with slightly sweet finish. Nice but a bit too grainy for me

Pours a clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of mild malt sweetness and grass. Taste of light fruit, bit of malt sweetness and trace of grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, smooth and clean feel with a nice touch of light fruit. Enjoyable beer that goes down easy on a summer day.

Pours clear golden with a small white head. The aroma has smooth nuttiness, clean light toast, just a hint of hops and some bread. It has a medium body with mild sharp carbonation. The flavor begins with smooth lager malt, mild caramel and spicy hops. The finish is lightly grassy. Nice and simple lager.

Sampled at Herotage Fest. Too much foam. Clear golden. Aroma is sweeter with a malty and earthy profile. Gentle fruot with just a bit of earth. A nice eady to drink beer. Soft fruit. This is almost a summer lager. Nice.

Really light bodied. Smooth. Somewhat sweet. Malt is the focus here. All around nice beer.

Bottle; poured a dull, slightly dark gold with a whitish head. Aroma of sweet malt and bread. Flavor was sweet and bready; slight fruity notes. Straightforward and ok.

Sample at Hopfest 2014. Comes a pale gold with a nice white head. Mild aroma of malt, grain, and grass. Taste is similar. Just what a Lager should be.

Crown Valley Farmhouse Lager has a thick, spongy, white head, a hazy, yellow-golden, bubbly appearance, and essentially no lacing left behind. The aroma is very bread oriented and sweet, and the flavor is of sweetness, biscuit, grits, and bread dough. Mouthfeel is medium and doughy, and Crown Valley Farmhouse Lager finishes refreshing, semi-dry, and extremely drinkable. Overall, this is one to enjoy, and I advise picking it up. RJT
