Our Gunslinger Double India Pale Ale starts with a rich malt base to which we add hops, hops and more hops. This skillful blend of malt sweetness and aggressive hoppiness will rule your senses! After the addition of Columbus, simcoe, centennial and citra hops at various points of the brewing process, we reach the final IBU count of 93.

Crown Valley is an interesting one, given they seem to have many misses but a few bulls eyes. This one isnít a double bull, but a double 18.

Bottle. Deep amber with a tall white foamy head. Malty, light caramel, tropical and light resinous hop. Flavor is quite sweet with a light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Less bitter than the average IPA, quite tasty.

The aroma of this beer is apparent immediately upon pouring out this beer, for the resin and floral hops hit you with a hint a dough yeast finishing up the nose. The appearance is a hazy orangeish golden color with a large white head, and the taste is mildly bitter and slightly sweet. The palate combines a medium body, average carbonation, slick texture, and a slightly bitter finish.

Pours a hazy orange with adequate khaki colored head that hung around for awhile leaving some lacing. Aroma is mainly caramel malt with some feint alcohol. Taste follows and is initially sweet with some citrus bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. I donít know what I paid for this but it was much cheaper than the other beers. Considering the price it was better than I expected but it is well below average for the style. Definitely not in the West Coast mold which I prefer.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy straw yellow color with a small white head. It smelled piney and grassy. Lots of sweetness, too. Taste is very sweet and malty. Strong toffee and some caramel flavors. Some piney bitterness, but not enough to balance out the sweetness. Medium bodied. Lightly crisp throughout.

Thin tan head with fair retention and lace. Light copper colored brew. Nose of caramel malts and a little tea bag, not much else. Body is medium, little carbonation. Light citrus flavors, grainy malts, not much else. Lightly sweet finish, lil fruit. Done. Bottle from statelineliquors.

12oz. Dark hazy orange. Alcohol is well hidden here and this could sneak up on me. Thick wintry spruce and a touch of citrus in the aroma. Flavor is full bodied and smooth. The finish is a little rubbing alcohol and lots of pine.
