Vary hazy copper pour. Dank, earthy, and citrusy hop aroma. Mild malty sweetness. I pick up a little wheat aroma. Flavor is pretty balanced. Caramel sweetness with earthy hop flavor.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a very clear deep orange color. Strong carbonation aroma, also citrus and grapefruit. Has more malt in it that's others. Too much carbonation I think, and it's more boozy than I like.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden amber color with white soapy head. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel, candi sugar and earthiness. Super sweet citrus taste with a higher carbonation level. I think this would be a barely above average IPA if the carb level wasn’t so harsh.

Really nice double IPA with just the right amount of malt and deliciously hopped without being too bitter. Nice opaque, dark golden color with foamy topper.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle into shaker. Opaque-cloudy, honey amber in color, medium foamy off-white lasting head. Heavy floral honey aroma with plenty of fresh squeezed orange juice citrus, light cinnamon, cloves, chamomile tea. Sweet honey and citrus flavors up front with pine and nuts in the middle, lasting bitter flavor. Palate almost surely overrides some flavor with a fizzy beginning, full body, bitter finish. This is a fantastic beer. I will buy this again.

Crown Valley is an interesting one, given they seem to have many misses but a few bulls eyes. This one isn’t a double bull, but a double 18.

Bottle. Deep amber with a tall white foamy head. Malty, light caramel, tropical and light resinous hop. Flavor is quite sweet with a light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Less bitter than the average IPA, quite tasty.
