COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our imperial pumpkin stout is deliciously roasted with dark chocolate and toffee notes with a hint of smoke and a little spice from the hops that give it a pine note. The pumpkin adds body and character for a great beer.

Really disappointing. Didn’t even finish it. Strange off flavors/spices prevail. Pours a nice opaque black with a reddish tan head. Nose is interesting- spices, sweet malt, pumpkin and chocolate all come through. First few sips are ok- pumpkin is definitely there- but sort of morphs into this strange brew where nothing co-operates. Vanilla and other spices taste synthetic, strange sweetness from the malts and pumpkin gives it an odd mouthfeel. Smoke in there confuses issue even more. Altogether too much happening and nothing really working. Weird.

This is what you want on the autumn/winter months. Rich malts with a nice balance between of hops, velvet smooth a bit of pumpkin at the end. Lovely ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Much less a pumpkin pie beer and more of an imperial stout brewed with pumpkin. The pumpkin and spice are evident but take a backseat to the big chocolate malt and roasty/smoky notes.

From a trade from Doran in Missouri. Thanks. From the 12 oz bottle it poured brown with a tan head. Nose of pumpkin and cinnamon . Medium body. Alcohol in mouth feel. Flavor very rich and he pumpkin and spices m,ix well. Finish hows alcohol but it does not spoil this fine beer. p

The aroma is sweet and spicy with notes of burnt malt and coffee but no pumpkin. The appearance is black with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma and bitter. The palate is typical. Overall this is disappointing for a lack of pumpkin but could be called a spice cake beer.

Very dark brown with a nice lace of off white bubbles. Nose has hints of smoke and roasted malt. Taste is sweet and smoky but not overly so. Hint of dark stone fruit. Body is silky. Very nice pumpkin stout.

Pours a very deep brown with a medium bubbly tan head. Aroma of pumpkin pie, milk chocolate, lightly toasted malt and coffee. Flavor of milk chocolate covered pumpkin pie, vanilla, mocha and caramel. Sweet but not cloying.

Random Wine Dog bottle but nice for the cooler weather. Nice classic stout pour into a pint glass with a big milk chocolate head. Aroma is mellow but cool, almost like a pumpkin bread with some chocolate too. Big spicy flavor with some smoke and hop bite. Very nice.

Sampled @ “Exclusive S&G Tasting: Special guest 77ships”. APPEARANCE: dark brown beer, small unstable beige head. NOSE: gingerbread, caramel, coffee. TASTE: gingerbread, little smoked, coffee, weird, chemical. Ham, chocolate truffle. Weird!
